2nd character outlined

The second character is now outlined and ready for colour, the design changed slightly because of the way it looked when illustrated, the lines clumped together creating blotches and made it difficult to view.

Once the third character is done i will then begin to add colour so that there is a consistent colour scheme throughout each design

This is the basic outline of the 2nd character.

This is the design of the fuel tanks which sit on the back of the character.

The plug asset allows the robot to add various attachments to the one arm.

This is the orb which powers the robot allows it to hover and move around freely.

The small light sensor which is attached to the head of the robot to show its state of mind and how its feeling.

1st Character outlined

The Outlines of the first character and the assets is complete and ready for colour, I used the pen tool in illustrator to create the different thicknesses of line, this creates a more detailed design which shows the key areas and points of interest

This is the basic character outline with all assets attached.

An added extra, helmet with breathing equipment and fire proof material.

A detector gadget allowing the character to search for scrap items and power sources.

This is a wooden bat which can be used as both a weapon and a ratchet for mechanical purposes.

The back pack for storing items and weapons etc.

Character Sketches ready for illustrator

These are the three sketched out characters which i now plan to recreate and detail using illustrator.

I have added as much detail as possible and shown some close up shots of various assets which are key to the character.

The next step is to create a range of assets for the characters which they can use to adapt to various situations and environments
